The MTD S53MSPB could be ideal if you have need of a larger petrol lawnmower but don’t want the hassle of constantly emptying grass clippings from the collector.

The S53MSPB is a 53cm self propelled mower that mulches the clippings as it goes along eliminating the need for a grass bag.

This lawnmower is available from the mainstream retailers such as Argos and Homebase but as I write this it is actually cheaper from the online garden machinery specialist shops Mowdirect and Lawnmowers UK. The latter is selling the Lawnflite version of the mower, Lawnflite being a MTD brand.

This mulching mower is fitted with a Briggs & Stratton 550 E Series 140cc engine.
