I bought a hedge trimmer here in France. Battery charger failed and I tried to get a new one under guarantee – no chance – they said the charger had been used so is not a manufacturing fault!! The 3 year guarantee is not worth the paper its written on.

Spares from http://sav03.fr/boutique/28-taille-haies. A battery is 30€, goodness only knows how much they will charge postage! I will never again buy tools or household goods from Lidl

It is simply a junk when the battery does not even last a couple of weeks . And you cant find the spare battery to buy. Exteremly very poor marketing. Dont polute the planet with junk.

don’t buy electric hedge trimmers or tools from lidl. if anything goes wrong they put you through to grizzly toolswho make the trimmers and tools. if you want a battery it costs £40 incl postage, thats nearly the price of a trimmer. grizzly tools also make a aerator-scarafier combo.i bought one ,scarafier does its job,but aerator is not an aerator,it doesen’t take plugs of soil out of lawn, its just blades spinning around i had to renew lawn after iused it . completely wrecked lawn.
